Good Morning, world!

Well, I figured since this whole Swine Flu thing is becoming the only thing that the news is talking about – then I better blog about it!!!

It’s amazing how insane people are getting over the Flu. “Oh, But it’s a really fast acting and deadly flu!!!!!” – Are you kidding me? We’re still looking at what? An 8% or less mortality rate?? So, if everyone in the world got sick, 8% die?? Oh Well… we needed a cleaning out anyway. Every once in a while a good cleansing to keep the damn liberals and human rights lovers on their toes is a good thing. I mean after all… you have a 92%+ chance of survival.

What? Am I being callous and cruel?? Oh.. I’m sorry. I’ll be sure to work on that whole “Politically Correct” nonsense while everyone is running around like chickens with their heads chopped off… quarantining the sick, locking people up merely because they have a cough and creating mass panic.

People die from a cold every damn day and just because the media is all over this “crazy” outbreak in Mexico the entire planet is now in an uproar. Seriously, how do reporters sleep at night knowing that half of the reason there’s such a panic – is because of them? Oh well… works for me.

Either this soon-to-be “Pandemic” takes off and creates a TEOTWAWKI (The End of the World as we know it) scenario, increasing the crime rate and theft in all cities across the globe, and causing people to lose faith in the infrastructure that coddles them and strokes their pathetic ego’s… or it doesn’t. If you had a brain larger than the size of a peanut you should already have a BOB.. AKA, Bug Out Bag, or 72-hour pack/kits with other survival tools (And yes, that includes guns).

If you do not… here’s a surprise – I don’t give a damn about you. If you failed to care enough about your own life to ensure your survival for when whatever country and government you live in falls (News Flash: Every empire and Government in history has fallen, it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when) then evidently you don’t care much about your life. So why should I?

I honestly doubt the Swine Flu will be the one that causes the Z-PAW, but I think something soon will; at least in America. If not the flu, then Obama’s complete and utter failure as a president over the next 4 years. I think we need a virus with more of a 30-40% or higher mortality rate, but if it be this virus – My hat’s off to the all the Liberals in the country that voted against personal protection and rely solely on the Police and Fire departments to save their ass. May the crazies not find you in a time where Rape, Murder and Theft will be the common practice, and no prisons that you can go hold their hands and whisper nice things in their ears to keep them in.

What?? I’m a paranoid terrorist whose views are a threat to the country??? Sorry. I just happen to pay attention when they said “A wise man learns from the mistakes of others,” and Katrina showed how well “humanity” stands up in the face of crisis, and they HAD somewhere to go and an infrastructure to retreat to: Now take that away and wonder how bad it really would have gotten over there?

Me? I have my guns, my food, water, and packs for my family. You can find me in a secluded spot in the middle of no where using those “evil” survival technique’s that you learn as a hunter, and military man. I probably won’t be hard to find… I’ll be laughing too loudly watching humans kill each other off far more efficiently than any virus, pandemic or otherwise, or failed government infrastructure ever could.

The fact is, when you remove the fundamental pieces of society that make it decent – Laws, Policy, Punishment, Regulations, Food, Water – you’ll see the true colors of our “advanced civilization”. I’ll be sitting back and enjoying the show….

Popcorn?

Hello again!

Sorry to all that my blog has been pretty dull of late. I just haven’t been up to much doing the daily grind. Still running my Acer Aspire One with Arch Linux and it’s been a great little companion. My family and I have taken a few trips out of state and we use the Acer as a video player to keep the kids quiet in the back seat :). We bought a car power adapter so we could keep it plugged in (since I do not yet have the 6-9 cell batteries). With an FM transmitter it’s actually not that bad of a setup.

On the news side, there was recently a lady that decided it was a sunny, nice day out for killing her son. You can read it here. This was the latest in a string of idiots killing people in the past month or so. It also has a video, which isn’t too extremely graphic if you’re worried about that kind of thing, but for the extremely weak stomached you may not want to play it. Nobody for a few days could tell why she did it, but then an audio surfaced; sort of like a suicide letter to her husband: here.

In it she explains she’s the Anti-Christ, needs to kill herself so that there can be 1000 years peace on earth, and killed her son to save him from getting his penis chopped off. Because, hey, that’s what mothers do – right?

Now, I’m pretty sure we all agree on one thing here – She’s bloody nuts! This is where I have trouble comprehending the logic of people… on every news post I can find about this that allows comments – people attack…….. GUNS?!? What the hell? Two idiots don’t make a right, here. Listening to that Audio, do you REALLY think stopping that woman from going to a shooting range would have prevented anything at all?

I don’t understand why it is that when a completely psychotic basket case decides to latch onto Guns, Games, TV, or Movies – we have all these people up in arms with pitchforks and poster boards trying to ban, outlaw, and remove liberties of sane people to stop the crazy people from being crazy… so where are all the riots, protesters, and lynch mobs out to ban religion?? This whack-job locked onto religion, not guns, the gun was merely the object she used to express her insanity. A knife would have worked just as well here people. So this nut job latches onto religion and yet nobody applies the same failed, knee-jerk, asinine logic that they apply to Movies, Games, or Tools. This is certainly not the first, nor will it be the last time a crazy goes around screaming “God made me do it!”.

So what gives people? Are we really so hypocritical and selfish as a race that we fully support the banning of anything that doesn’t effect *us* directly, but that millions of our fellow Americans enjoy and love daily, merely because a politician is screaming at the top of his lungs “Yes We Can?” Have we really become so unamerican that we actually choose to sacrifice personal freedoms and liberties to purchase a temporary peace of mind – with no actual evidence that life will really be any safer without Violent TV, or Guns? For every study done that shows a crime decrease with more gun laws, one can point out areas and countries that crime either stayed the same, or INCREASED, after such laws. None of these studies take into any other factor – like, for example, social climate. Look at D.C., until recently (or maybe still?) one of the crime capitals of the country; and also the most restrictive on firearms! In fact, so restrictive, the Supreme Court had to stand up and say “Um… No.”

So, without concrete proof that any of these laws, rules, regulations, or bans will actually make the world any safer a place to live – do you truly believe sacrificing the rights or privileges of millions of Americans that don’t shoot up restaurants, schools, and malls is the correct answer? Are we that daft?
